What is Wing Chun ?

Wing Chun Kung Fu is a Chinese martial art of self-defense that focuses on combat effectiveness and the development of sensations. By practicing Wing Chun, you will improve your physical and mental abilities, allowing you to better react in dangerous situations.

A Martial Art for Self-Defense

Self-defense, incorporating various martial arts, aims to help you escape sensitive situations. It develops your ability to overcome fear and manage stress, whether facing physical aggression or everyday life challenges. My classes confront you with real scenarios, teaching you to manage your emotions and adopt the right reflexes.

The History of Wing Chun

Wing Chun has its origins in a Chinese village, where a Shaolin master developed hand-to-hand combat techniques to help peasants defend themselves. This martial art became confidential, passed down from master to student to preserve its effectiveness. Today, it is popularized by films like Ip Man and iconic figures like Bruce Lee.

Why Practice Wing Chun?

The main goal of Wing Chun is combat effectiveness, with rapid counterattacks at close range. The fundamental principles include:

If the way is clear, advance!
If it is not clear, clear it!
If the opponent is stronger, be even stronger!
If they retreat, follow them!
Wing Chun promotes the simultaneity of defense and attack, allowing the practitioner to maintain a strategic advantage.
